Here's an original tune written by Mick Sammons of the Lossie Folk Club :-

THE LOSSIE HORNPIPE

Here's a few of John Ireland's sequenced midi tracks that you can grab for free if you should feel the urge.

You can Mail John and let him know what you think of them.

Lark in the morning
Rakes of Kildare

These are a couple of Irish Double Jigs.
Yes! I know Lark in the morning is a 4 part tune and the clip is only the first 2 parts, but please bear with me, I'm trying to save space for more tunes.

Gravel Walk
A 4 part Irish reel, this is most of it except for the last repeat as I don't use it.

Tenpenny bit
I can't take any credit for this arrangement as I nicked it from the last few bars of "The Waterboys" {When will we be married}. Great version! I thought... "I'll 'ave it!" Now you've got it too!

"When Paddy met Sally" Set

This is a full set of tunes called;
"Paddy on the Railroad",
"Sally Gardens" and
"Kiss the maid behind the bar"

Bonnie Banks O' Fordie
Text

This is a wonderful song that I first heard sung by "Old Blind Dogs" I really like its morbid style so I thought I'd include the lyrics for those that want to sing it.
For the sake of clarity, the Accordion part is an intro & fill, the tune itself is the synth voice.

Willies set
A set of 3 tunes called;
"Willies auld troosers",
"Miss Shephard" &
"The Scholar".
